CONTEXT
- A manufacturing client was considering a pre-mature shutdown its production facility which had received investment incentives from the Board of Investment (BOI). The company wishes to assess risks and identify the most suitable and cost-effective approach to the exit of such facility and to help its management makes an informed decision on the matter.
EXECUTION
- Vero Advocacy conducted a feasibility report, assessing the claw back risks attached to the premature cessation of the client’s production facility and operation, and identify most suitable and cost-effective option for the exit. We supported the report and verified our findings with insights gathered, on a no-name basis, from the BOI and issue experts.
RESULTS
- The client’s management team had clearer picture on the attached risks and was able to make an informed decision on their production facility shutdown plan that is most commercially and legally viable.
