CONTEXT
- An overseas investor client seek to invest in a multi-million tire recycling business in Thailand. They needed support in identifying and assessing the most appropriate investment set up for their new tire recycling facility as well as understanding the current market situation, regulatory frameworks, political landscape, and applicable investment incentives.
EXECUTION
- Vero Advocacy conducted a due-diligence report covering information such as topline market overview, investment assessment, regulatory landscape, list of potential suppliers, etc. We also engaged with the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) to secure investment incentives for the client.
RESULTS
- The client better understood the market as well as policy and regulatory conditions, allowing them to make a more informed decision on their high-value investment. They eventually invested in a tire recycle factory per our recommendation.
