CONTEXT
- An international e-commerce platform client faced new Consumer Protection Regulations 2024, reviews of the Postal Services and Competition Acts, and early ASEAN DEFA talks, which required deeper regulator engagement, structured policy dialogue, and proactive compliance planning.
EXECUTION
- We delivered strategic counsel, mapping and engaging key government stakeholders. This included syllabus design for high-level policy dialogues and back-end development of thought-leadership platforms—most notably a nationwide seller summit with senior policymakers. We also provided ongoing policy intelligence and insights, enabling alignment of practices with the forthcoming ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA).
